Those who have done French before and feel confident with some everyday communication such as ordering food in a restaurant, shopping, buying tickets. You will have some knowledge of basic language structures but feel you would like to reinforce these before going on to more complex communication.

I have loved languages since childhood, when holidays were spent camping throughout Europe and trying to communicate with children of all nationalities, often through shared English popular songs!
I went on to study French and Spanish at Durham University, after which I was a primary school teacher for many years. There, I would ask children who spoke languages other than English, to teach me a few phrases in their language, which kept me aware of the challenges of learning a brand new language. I also kept up my skills with British Council teacher exchanges to France, as well as regular trips to Europe to visit friends and spend holidays.
Since leaving school teaching, I am thoroughly enjoying tutoring for Language for Fun, and the relaxed, enjoyable method of language learning, so different to how learners would have been taught in school.
