French - Improver

Improvers 1 – Learners who have studied the language before and are comfortable with the present tense. We will continue to build your vocabulary and start talking about the past, drawing inspiration from our real lives.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

• • Talk about your holidays using the verb “to go”
  • Use the immediate future “je vais” to talk about holiday plans
  • Talk about where you live and say how long you’ve done something with “ça fait…”
  • Use possesive pronouns “my, your, his, her etc” to describe your family and find out about others’ families
  • Say how you feel with phrases that use “j’ai”
  • Use object pronouns “it, them” etc to buy clothes in a shop
  • Use the simple future tense (for e.g. “je chercherai”) to order in a shop and talk about your future plans.
