My love of French started when I realised that I could use a second language to successfully purchase croissants on a French campsite, aged 8.
After falling in love with Paris on a school art trip, I then went on to live there for a year as part of my degree in English and French at Nottingham University, where I also discovered an interest in French surrealist literature and photography.
I have since taught French in secondary schools for 5 years, an experience that underlined the importance of speaking a second language as much as possible in a supportive setting. This is why I love tutoring with Language for Fun, we start speaking all together from the first session in a relaxed and enjoyable environment, allons-y!
