French Beginners Monday Evenings in Cheltenham South with Melanie

This course is ideal for:

you if you always wanted to learn French but don’t know where to start, or prefer speaking practice over heavy vocabulary and grammar books, and want to learn with a native French speaker – or you wish to learn a language but not on your own, with like-minded people, this is what this course is all about!

Join a series of ten in-person lessons, accompanied by a cup of tea, beer, or wine if you like! These are group lessons, limited to twelve people, so you can learn at your own pace, make friends, and enjoy speaking French. By the end of this course you will be able to:

greet people
have a simple conversation about my family, my job, nationality and possessions
use the verbs “to have“ and “to be“
buy food in a shop with “some” and “any”
find out when shops are open and closed
use numbers to 100

Lesson Duration: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Lessons will take place on the following Mondays: 28th April, 5th May (bank Holiday so we may decide to postpone the class) 12th May, 19th May, 26th May (bank holiday so same as above) 2nd June, 9th June, 16th June, 23rd June, 30th June Please be aware that we will discuss as a group whether it is viable to have a lesson on those bank holiday dates or not.
