French - Beginner

This face-to-face and online blended course will run in Formby.  We will meet in person for the first and last lesson of term and the other 8 classes will be held online on Zoom.

This course is suitable for complete beginners or people who have learned some French before and want to start again from the beginning. The course starts with the basics such as hello, goodbye and what is your name but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life.

By the end of the course you will be able to :

Greet people,
Have a simple conversation about your family, job, nationality and possessions,
Buy food in a shop and get information about opening times,
use numbers to 100.

There are no exams and there is no compulsory homework for this course.  We aim to build your confidence with speaking and listening in French. We focus on communication, not perfection!

The course will start on Tuesday 22nd September with a live lesson and run for 9 more weeks until Tuesday 1st December with a break for half term on Tuesday 27th October. The course costs £165 for 10 x 75 min lessons.
