You passed your A-level, had to stop studying it at university but would like to go on with it, come and join our little group. It is also ideal for people who spent time in France but do not want to forget it all.
We have interesting conversations about various topics, news, French culture and newspaper articles.
Vanessa is a French native speaker who comes from the North of France, near Lille. However, her family is scattered between Normandy, Brittany, Alsace and the Riviera. This has given her the chance to get to know several areas of the country. Vanessa studied English and Spanish for her baccalaureat and passed her English degree with honours at Lille University, then came to England to practice her English working in a school as a French assistant. She then decided to stay to share her knowledge of French, her mother tongue, but also Spanish, which she adores. She studied for her PGCE and taught French and Spanish in high school and college for 11 years before joining Language For Fun's lovely team as a tutor and then as a licensee. She likes going to art lessons and Tae Kwon Do. This all gives her the chance to savour different ways of teaching and adapt to different needs and levels. Vanessa loves sharing her passion for language and culture, Language For Fun's method of learning and being part of its lovely team, which she has now been with for 15 years!
