Spanish - Advanced
This course is ideal for:
… learners who are roughly around GCSE level in the language and can make themselves understood in many situations, using present, past and future tenses already. If you would like to move on to more complex language and improve your fluency as well as your vocabulary, this course is for you.
We are working through the “Sr Subjuntivo” book to get to grips with when to use the subjunctive mood in Spanish. We will then continue basing our learning and conversations on different topics (F-J). We sometimes read a short story too – details will be given to you of the book to buy if you join.
As this class is Zoom only, you have the option to request a recording if you are going to miss a class. You may also join from anywhere with a stable internet connection. You do not need to live in Lichfield or Sutton Coldfield to join this class!
For those that are in the Lichfield/Sutton Coldfield area, we try to meet up occasionally in person for a Social too.

School exchanges to France and Spain ignited a lifelong passion for learning other languages and cultures, which I love to share. A degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French) and Marketing Studies led to a work placement in Barcelona, which I still feel is my second home. My first career in banking made me realise how much I missed languages so I trained as a teacher in Adult Education, teaching Spanish to adults whilst my children were young (and taking Italian as a hobby!).
When the opportunity arose to work in schools, I grabbed the opportunity and gained experience in many different schools with children from 5 – 18.
Having joined Language For Fun as a Tutor I was so impressed that I soon became a licensee. I love helping people discover the fun side of learning languages! I look forward to meeting you - Sharon x
