We offer fun, stress-free lessons with no exams and no compulsory homework in relaxed but highly structured and effective classes, where a large part of the lesson is spent talking to other learners.
Our conversations have been created specifically for adults, and we have a coffee morning atmosphere, where we make sure that everyone feels at ease and able to join in!
Below is information about all of our classes.
Beginners
If you are a true beginner or Italophobic, this course is for you! You will approach the language slowly but surely to acquire the basics through fun activities and small conversations.
Improvers
If you learnt a bit of Italian at school but feel you have forgotten it all, come with us, it will soon come back.
Improvers +
You have some basic knowledge of past and present tenses and would like to learn how to share your experiences with an French -or Francophonic- person? This course is for you.
Intermediate
If you are starting to feel more independent but would like to get more fluent, come and join us.
Advanced
If you can use the past, the future and the conditional but avoid the subjunctive if at all possible, come and join the club!
French conversation
you would like to have chats in little groups to acquire confidence or try and make long gone -so you think- high level conversations come back, come and chat with us.
Other classes and levels
Other classes can be arranged according to demand - just let us know what level and what day and time you would like, and we will see what we can arrange!
Other courses of all levels starting each term! We also offer Spanish and French online!
Each term runs for 10 weeks and lessons are 60-90 minutes long.

Our Course Teachers
Amélie is studying a French degree at University of Nottingham and has experience of teaching to GCSE and A'level standard. She loves France and teaching French and spends several weeks per year in France. She has French friends and loves eating out, sewing, crochet and travelling.

Some of our learners have been with us for 15 years! Be patient with yourself - the process of learning a language is never complete but each term you should be that bit more confident to use your newfound skills and get the most out of your travels.
