Spanish - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
those who have studied a bit of Spanish before but want to keep learning! You’ll get totally comfortable with chatting in the present tense – and spend time with some cheeky verbs (ser and estar) and close friends (por and para). This 5 week intensive course covers 10 topics to help you prepare to consolidate what you have learnt so far and get ready for our Improver course!

I am a Spanish Honours graduate with over 30 years’ teaching experience. I currently teach Spanish at a local secondary school in North Somerset and I started a new language business Lunalingo in May 2020 offering Spanish classes to children in Portishead. I have been teaching adults with Language For Fun since September 2021. I have lived in Valencia and Girona and still have close contacts with my friends there. Valencia is like a second home for me and my family. I love languages and I really looking forward to sharing my love for Spain and all things Spanish with the local community and having fun!
