Spanish - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
… What we call our Rusty Beginners–learners who have some basic skills like counting, greetings and buying items. You will build up new vocabulary and create sentences you that you can use straight away in real life. We will cover the alphabet, how to ask for directions, directions for driving, catching the bus, how to tell the time and ordering food in a restaurant … and we will start to get to grips with verbs!
This is the 2nd term of our popular Spanish For Beginners course.
This class will be taught by Ivor who is a very experienced teacher and lived in Mexico for many years.

¡Hola!
I lived in Mexico for 28 years, working for some of that time as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language to pupils of all ages and in a variety of settings, including schools and language institutes. I didn’t speak a word of Spanish when I first arrived in Mexico; I now consider myself pretty much bilingual and I use Spanish every day. I have two languages, I have two passports, I feel part of two cultures, and I feel at home in two countries.
Being able to speak Spanish offers people many benefits, as it is one of the world’s major languages, spoken by hundreds of millions of people in about twenty different countries.
I’ve just recently started with Language for Fun and I really enjoy helping people begin and then grow as Spanish speakers, whatever their interests and needs may be.
