You can call me Elliss. I believe that learning a language is the best way to express your admiration and respect for a country, this is just one of the reasons I have been motivated to start teaching with Language For Fun.
My Spanish journey began in secondary school, where I found myself in awe of the language teachers having private conversations in such an elegant way, but what truly inspired me was their enthusiasm to share the beauty of their language, consistently eliminating any feelings of self-doubt in their students. By taking on Spanish A-level, I was exposed to Spanish literature and film, all the while developing my cultural understanding by listening to Spanish music and podcasts in the house. Through my travelling and opportunistic interactions, my love for the language has only grown, and I am looking forward to learning various other languages, especially in the Latin family.
