French - Improver
This course is ideal for:
Learners who already have a fair bit of basic knowledge (counting, greetings, basic vocab to do with directions, places around town, holidays…) or perhaps a GCSE in their distant past and who wish to build up new vocabulary and sentences that they will be able to use straight away in real-life conversations. The group is small, our approach is relaxed and there is always time for questions, explanations and lots of pronunciation practice!

New learners are welcome to join at any time! If you join the course part-way through just pay for the remaining lessons of the term.

Bonjour! I'm Florence. I come from Brittany in France. I am a qualified French teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and I have been teaching from young children to adults for over 20 years. I can adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs and learning styles, whether you want to learn or improve for holidays, leisure, studies or work. When living in Poland and Slovakia, I realised how difficult it can be to communicate in a new language but also how enriching it can be to connect with people in their home language, albeit at a basic level initially. I like to create a warm, friendly environment in all my classes. I am very excited about starting offering Language for Fun classes for French in Redcar and Cleveland. I love the approach and I'm sure that you will too. It's fun, interactive and focused on real conversations. communication rather than perfection!
