French - Improver
This course is ideal for:
Learners who have studied the language before. We will consolidate the proper use of present, past and future tenses and continue to extend your vocabulary using real-life situations.
Learning is designed to take you through every day spoken French, while on holiday or on short visits. Each class builds to a spoken, scripted conversation, which we practice in pairs, in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.
On the way we learn new vocabulary as well as a bit of grammar, culture and pronunciation. We then have an opportunity to create our own conversation with lots of support and there is always an emphasis on French for Fun! Learning is supported with course materials and access to online learning with Language for fun.

New learners are welcome to join at any time! If you join the course part-way through just pay for the remaining lessons of the term.

Bonjour! I'm Florence. I come from Brittany in France. I am a qualified French teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and I have been teaching from young children to adults for over 20 years. I can adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs and learning styles, whether you want to learn or improve for holidays, leisure, studies or work. When living in Poland and Slovakia, I realised how difficult it can be to communicate in a new language but also how enriching it can be to connect with people in their home language, albeit at a basic level initially. I like to create a warm, friendly environment in all my classes. I am very excited about starting offering Language for Fun classes for French in Redcar and Cleveland. I love the approach and I'm sure that you will too. It's fun, interactive and focused on real conversations. communication rather than perfection!
