French - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
This is an intensive day course covering the 10 week course over 2 Saturdays, although you can also only attend one of the two. We will look at important words and phrases related to health, talking about the weekend, invitation, preferences, comparisons among others.
Following the class, you will have one year’s access to the virtual learning environment with loads of content to help you revise what we cover on the day and to finish off the workbook.
Our classes are relaxed and friendly as we focus on communication, not perfection. Lunch is provided on the day.
The course will run 10am – 4pm on Saturday 26th October 2024 and Saturday 9th November. There are only 8 places available.

Bonjour! I'm Florence. I come from Brittany in France. I am a qualified French teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and I have been teaching from young children to adults for over 20 years. I can adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs and learning styles, whether you want to learn or improve for holidays, leisure, studies or work. When living in Poland and Slovakia, I realised how difficult it can be to communicate in a new language but also how enriching it can be to connect with people in their home language, albeit at a basic level initially. I like to create a warm, friendly environment in all my classes. I am very excited about starting offering Language for Fun classes for French in Redcar and Cleveland. I love the approach and I'm sure that you will too. It's fun, interactive and focused on real conversations. communication rather than perfection!
