French - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
Do you want to get off to a flying start learning French? Do you want to recap the basics but don’t have time for a weekly class?
This is an intensive all-day course covering the key words and phrases to get you communicating in everyday situations. Course materials provided.
Following the class, you will have one year’s access to the virtual learning environment to help you revise what we cover on the day.
Our classes are relaxed and friendly as we focus on communication, not perfection. If you’re not sure of your level, please contact me before booking your space.
Timings: 10am-5pm
Please pay a deposit of £50 to reserve your place. I kindly ask that full fees are paid before the day of the course.

Bonjour! I have always had an interest in languages, graduating with a first class degree from Sheffield University in French, German, and spoken Swedish. I then completed an MA in Translation and undertook some freelance translation work. After a career break to spend time at home with my 3 daughters, I went on to teach language clubs in primary schools alongside piano tuition, and I am delighted to also be offering structured adult conversation classes with Language for Fun. In my spare time, I also enjoy running, being part of a book club, and leading a community choir. I look forward to meeting you!
