French - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
Beginners who have done some basic French language learning before.
If your French is a little rusty and you’d like to improve your speaking skills then this is a great course to start and get back into learning French. We will gently build confidence and widen your vocabulary whilst focusing on conversation and building vocabulary.
This course is the natural follow on for those who have completed the Beginner 1 level course with Language for Fun.
Group sizes are small with the emphasis on conversational French, offering lots of opportunity for practicing in a safe environment. Classes are fun, relaxed and you will never be asked to speak in front of the class if you don’t want to.

Bonjour! I'm Florence. I come from Brittany in France. I am a qualified French teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and I have been teaching from young children to adults for over 20 years. I can adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs and learning styles, whether you want to learn or improve for holidays, leisure, studies or work. When living in Poland and Slovakia, I realised how difficult it can be to communicate in a new language but also how enriching it can be to connect with people in their home language, albeit at a basic level initially. I like to create a warm, friendly environment in all my classes. I am very excited about starting offering Language for Fun classes for French in Redcar and Cleveland. I love the approach and I'm sure that you will too. It's fun, interactive and focused on real conversations. communication rather than perfection!
