The course was fantastic and the way Stephanie taught us was very relaxed and friendly making it easy to learn and giving us lots of confidence. The lessons were fun and course material really good. Would highly recommend and we have signed up already for the next course.

I have been attending Spanish Language for Fun for two terms now after previously attending a night school course at college that I wasn’t very impressed with. I have learnt so much more with Christianne and have lots of fun whilst learning. I can’t believe how much more information that I retain during her lessons. I am currently on holiday in Spain and I am astounded at how much Spanish I am using and I feel so much more confident when talking to Spanish people (especially as they can understand me!). I would thoroughly recommend Language for Fun with Christianne, believe me you will definitely have FUN!

Surprised by how much I have learnt and how much cake I can eat ! (with Lizzie in North Essex)

I have just completed French Beginners with Lizzie who has been a great and enthusiastic teacher. The humour and cake make learning fun with just the right amount of challenge. Making everyone in the class feel welcomed, encouraged and supported to enable us to engage in the "fun" of learning, the clue is in the name ! No embarrassing on the spot questions and the confidence gained by all of us has been great. Split into useful topics to enable thought and discussion, learning phrases and the peculiarities of French grammar. Lizzie has explained it all with useful memory triggers and humour. I have been surprised by how much I have learnt and by how much cake I can eat ! I can't wait to start again in September.

I have been having French lessons for almost 2 terms. Stephanie is a super teacher - very patient and friendly. The lessons are very well thought out with good materials including videos online which help to practise pronunciation. Learning alongside other adults is a fun way to learn French and we are a friendly group who support each other. I cannot recommend Stephanie as a French teacher more highly.

I have dyslexia so can find it hard to learn new things but Stephanie makes the learning so easy and so much fun. I have just completed Spanish beginners one with Steve Hodgson who has been a fantastic and inspirational teacher. It has been great hearing the back story to his Spanish learning journey and hearing his enthusiasm for the language which has really motivated me to want to learn. His warmth and humour makes learning fun with just the right amount of challenge for beginners. His ability to engage the whole class regardless of ability is exemplary.
