Elisa is a native Italian speaker from the city of Lucca in Tuscany. She has always wanted to work in teaching but trained as a graphic designer, specialising in instructional design. She graduated in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa in 2009.
Soon after starting her first job, Elisa began leading courses in English, IT and graphic design. She took on extra training to boost her teaching skills, working with students both online and in the classroom.
Elisa later moved to Toronto, Canada, for a couple of years before settling in the West Midlands. She now holds the Italian license for Language for Fun in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Nantwich, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury.
In her spare time Elisa loves to get creative and her hobbies include crochet, photography, cake design and painting role-play miniatures. She is also a keen reader and especially enjoys historical novels and fantasy.

A graduate in French from Leeds University, Richard also has Advanced Level qualifications in Spanish, Italian and German. Having spent most of his career working in Export Sales for British manufacturers of a variety of products ranging from ceramic tiles to mens’ shirts and from woodworking machinery to bathroom sanitaryware, Richard has been fortunate to travel the world extensively and to use his languages in International Trade environments. Turning to teaching later in life than usual, he completed a Diploma in Education in 2013. He has worked for Language for Fun as a tutor since the beginning of 2011 and holds the licence for Spanish in Newcastle-under-Lyme (he holds classes in Trentham & Newcastle) Blythe Bridge & Stone and Spanish & French for Congleton, Nantwich and Alsager all of which he is looking to expand over the next few years.
