Quote Icon French for Fun in Chislehurst and Bromley

Our French classes are dynamic and lively. We learn in small groups over a drink in a local cafe or pub. Not only are you learning a language, you're also making friends with other likeminded people.

I never make anyone speak French in front of the class if they don't want to, and yet in a typical lesson you get plenty of opportunities to speak to each other and practise what we're learning.

There's no pressure, no compulsory homework, no tests, no exams or unnecessary stress. If you're going to learn a new language, this is the way to do it! Join us!

You might like to read a bit about me. A native English speaker, I've been learning and teaching languages for 18 years! After getting my degree in French and Spanish, I qualified to teach English as a foreign language, and secondary French and Spanish, and I've been teaching ever since! I lived and worked in Spain for several years and learned to love the Spanish language and culture, liking nothing better than helping my fellow native English speakers to appreciate it too. I firmly believe in lifelong language learning and in my free time I'm trying to improve my ( basic) Mandarin Chinese. I may be fluent and qualified in French and Spanish, but I am still a beginner learner of Chinese so I know how daunting it can be and how important it is that the atmosphere and materials in a class are non-threatening and easily accessible, so have no fear in that regard! It was my quest to pursue my professional life in a way that is more family friendly than mainstream education that lead me to set up language classes for adults, and I would be delighted for you to join me this year.
