Welcome to French for Fun, Barnet, with Diane!
Learning a language can be fun! Our lessons are relaxed, with no exams or compulsory homework!
Group numbers are kept small - minimum 3 students, maximum 6 students - to allow everyone to play an active part in classes.
Although the atmosphere is relaxed, the classes are highly structured, including carefully prepared conversations which help you to make progress week by week.
Each term consists of a block of 10 weekly lessons.

Hello!
My name is Diane and I have been teaching language to adults for over 30 years. I am a graduate of York University with a BA Honours degree in French and Linguistics and I also hold two adult teaching qualifications. I have been married to a Frenchman for over 30 years and we have three bilingual children. We lived in France for 13 years, where I taught both French and English at the Chamber of Commerce in Normandy. I have also taught English as a Foreign Language to adults at my local College of Further Education.
I aim to create an informal, stress-free environment in which learners can relax, socialise and become more confident French speakers - and have a lot of fun in the process!
I'm looking forward to welcoming you to my French for Fun classes.
