19/03/2019 - French film night in Woodhouse Eaves – Amelie (“Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain”)

After the success of our first French film night in Woodhouse Eaves last July, we are now ready to launch a whole new program for this new school year.
On March 19th, we will show the now classical “Amélie” or as per its French title “Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain, starring the fabulous Audrey Tauton  (2001 – Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet)

A fabulous ode to kindness, France, and Montmartre in Paris.

Amelie, an innocent and naive girl in Paris, with her own sense of justice, decides to help those around her and along the way, discovers love.

The movie will be shown in French with English subtitles. We will have a chatty social time after the movie, in French or English, up to you, around some refreshments and nibbles.

This evening is open to all public (not only Language for Fun learners). Tickets will be sold £8 prior to the event and at the door, watch this space for the coming link to ticket sale.
