Not just a language class – fun and friendship included!

- Not just a language class – fun and friendship included!

Classes are a great place to meet new friends and have fun, as well as learning a new language and becoming more confident in your Spanish speaking skills! After a year on zoom, we had our first face to face class social evening with our Improvers 3 class in June and we had a great time at a local tapas restaurant. We hope to meet up in small groups with the other classes over the summer break.

Just before our Easter break, our adult learners participated in zoom games nights to raise money for Fundación Totai, a charity in Trinidad-Beni, Bolivia that Rachel used to work at during her 9 years in South America. We had lots of fun practicing our Spanish while having fun, and raising money for a great cause.

Due to Covid-19 our classes have been running on Zoom since March 2020, and we’ve adapted the classes to our new online format. We still have the chance to practice our conversations in small groups in breakout rooms, and we got into the competitive spirit at the end of term when all classes participated in a Kahoot review quiz.

Our new block of classes start the week beginning Monday 23rd August 2021 for a 12 week term. As the future Covid situation is still unclear, next term we will continue the majority of our classes on zoom and we will meet in person for a few classes during the term. Classes will move back to face to face format when it’s safe to do so. This term there will be various levels running – Beginners 3 and 4, Improvers 1, and 3 and Intermediate 1.

A waiting list is available for a NEW Beginners 1 class also which is scheduled to start in August also.

Feel free to get in touch for more information or to chat to Rachel about what level would be best for you.
