Spanish - Advanced

Hello, my name is Monica and I'm a Spanish teacher for “Language For Fun in Malvern. I was born & educated in Colombia, South America where our native language is Spanish. I studied Spanish Literature at Cauca University. After getting married I moved to the UK where I raised three bilingual children. During that time I became involved in local schools where I taught children Spanish (and Salsa) in school clubs.

Teaching is great fun for me and I’m passionate about sharing that with you. Having a second language has enabled me and my children to make the most of our travels to other countries, experiencing the joy of being able to understand and to communicate.

Learning a language is by its nature very social and will also help challenge and keep your brain active. Learning Spanish with “Language For Fun” classes is relaxing, social and enjoyable. We practice the target language in conversation based lessons, creating realistic situations, practicing in pairs and as a group; while in a supportive atmosphere: you won’t be put on the spot or asked to talk in front of the class if you’d rather not and we don’t take examinations; we just want you to learn to use Spanish! And to support that we have a Spanish themed social event during the term.
