Spanish - Improver
This course is ideal for:
Learners who already have some experience of Spanish, basic skills and are relatively comfortable with the present tense. Perhaps you have GCSE or O Level Spanish from a while ago and feel pretty rusty, but would like to increase your skills and gain more confidence in speaking?
This term we are going to continue building up new vocabulary, looking at the future tense and creating sentences you will be able to use straight away in real-life conversations.

These are relaxed Spanish lessons with a proven structure and step-by-step learning, focussing greatly on conversation and communication. There is no pressure and there are no exams!

Bonjour! Hola! Ciao!
My name is Annalisa. At 3 years old, I started learning French at Ecole Eglantine, a local bilingual nursery, and from there my love and passion for languages continued to flourish. I have lived and worked in Paris and Madrid (from where I have many stories to tell!) and I have a First Class degree in Modern Foreign Languages (French; Spanish and ab initio Italian) from Durham University. There I was also awarded separate Distinction Awards in Spoken French and Spoken Spanish.
Thanks to my fluency and native-like accent, I have also successfully brought up my 4-year-old son, Rémi, fully bilingual. Perhaps he will take over my classes in 30 years’ time...!
Before my son’s birth, I worked in the City as a Kidnap & Ransom Insurance Underwriter in charge of business originating from Francophone and Spanish-speaking territories.
I love to share my passion and knowledge for languages with others and my classes are fantastic opportunities for you to make conversations and new friendships with local likeminded people and, of course, help you spread your wings and get the most out of your trips to France, Spain and Italy!
