I read French and Spanish at University and taught English in France for 18 months, before spending more than 10 years as a freelance journalist on various newspapers and magazines and as a PR officer for both ITN and BBC Education, where I was also a researcher on foreign language courses. After my family, France and the French are the love of my life, with Spain and the Spanish coming a very close second, and amazingly - given that I am now the wrong side of 50 - my languages get better every time I visit friends there (though the wine helps).
It doesn't matter if you are a nervous beginner, a rusty returner or a reasonably confident speaker, I have a small, friendly class that will make you laugh every time and become the highlight of your week. My students' enthusiasm is so infectious! Whatever your reason for sharpening up your French or beginning Spanish (to enjoy the food, for business trips or even in the hope of a holiday romance), you will improve your pronunciation in just a few sessions and pick up many useful words and phrases that will really boost your confidence.
