French - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
Learners with a good GCSE or O Level who would like to improve their fluency. You will have
the chance to practise your compound tenses and talk about your dreams, hopes and regrets!
Classes start on Tuesday 12th January and run for 10 weeks.
The course costs £130 total including all printed materials.

My parents instilled a love of languages in me. We regularly travelled around Europe and tried to use the appropriate language as much as possible. We met and subsequently stayed with or entertained people from many different countries and cultures.
During a recent holiday in Turkey and Greece, I realised the importance of speaking to people in their own language. I could see the pleasure in their faces when I tried to speak to them in their language and was mortified when I was unable to communicate with people who didn’t speak English, while I was in their country!
My first experience of teaching language occurred during my French and Russian degree, when I taught English to French adults for six months. After that, I worked in big business and tourism before changing career to assisting a disadvantaged child in primary school. This led to teaching French with La Jolie Ronde, a programme for children from 2 to 11, which I have done for the past six years.
Upon enquiries from adults, I began teaching them 1:1 and tutoring for GCSE. I have received further requests and am very enthusiastic about starting these classes.
