School exchanges to France and Spain ignited a lifelong passion for learning other languages and cultures, which I continue to share enthusiastically.
A degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French) and Marketing Studies led to a work placement in Barcelona, which I still feel is my second home. My first career in banking made me realise how much I missed languages so I trained as a teacher in Adult Education, teaching Spanish to adults whilst my children were young (and taking Italian as a hobby!).
When the opportunity arose to work in schools, I grabbed the opportunity and gained experience in many different schools with children from 5 – 18.
Having joined Language For Fun as a Tutor I was so impressed that I soon became a licensee. I love helping people discover the fun side of learning languages! I look forward to meeting you - Sharon x
