Bonjour, je m’appelle Heather.
After 20 years of living in France I returned to the Uk in 2017.

My own experience of learning french involved so much comedy that upon resettling in the UK I chose to teach with the Language For Fun method specifically because it is angled towards making the learning enjoyable.

When I moved to France I had just a handful of basic words, like please, thank you, hello, goodbye, house, baguette and bicycle! I spent 22 years there completely submerged in the culture, rarely speaking English.
In middle school I had worked hard at being ignored during the very few french lessons I was obliged to take, so I surprised everyone (myself included) by learning my french in situ and by loving every minute of it.
The happy result is that having made all the classic mistakes that English people make, I am now fully trained to help you avoid each and everyone of them.
