French - Advanced
This course is ideal for:
This Intermediate/Advanced level is ideal for learners who have studied French before and are pretty comfortable with the present and past tenses (passé composé), and aware of the future, the conditional and the imperfect tenses. We’ll use real-life conversations to help your grammar, build your vocabulary and improve your confidence when speaking – all while having a good laugh! Lessons will be fun and friendly. We’re looking to develop real fluency at this level – but don’t worry if you’re not quite there yet. That’s what these conversation-based classes are designed to help you achieve.

Bonjour! I'm Florence. I come from Brittany in France. I am a qualified French teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and I have been teaching from young children to adults for over 20 years. I can adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs and learning styles, whether you want to learn or improve for holidays, leisure, studies or work. When living in Poland and Slovakia, I realised how difficult it can be to communicate in a new language but also how enriching it can be to connect with people in their home language, albeit at a basic level initially. I like to create a warm, friendly environment in all my classes. I am very excited about starting offering Language for Fun classes for French in Redcar and Cleveland. I love the approach and I'm sure that you will too. It's fun, interactive and focused on real conversations. communication rather than perfection!
