Welcome to Spanish for Fun in Limavady. I pride myself on the personal approach. When you enquire about learning Spanish with me, I talk to you personally - I won't just make you sign up online and take your money in advance!
My courses are run in groups that are much smaller than other colleges. I have a highly structured curriculum which has been specifically designed for adult learners who want to learn Spanish for fun as a hobby, and I focus on speaking and communication skills. You don't have to do homework unless you want to, and I am convinced that making friends and enjoying the social side is just as important as the progress you make.

Our Course Teachers
SpanishHola/ Bonjour - I am a qualified language teacher in the secondary school sector. My love of languages began when I heard tourists, visiting Ireland, speaking French/German/Spanish (and probably a lot of other languages!)
After secondary school, I studied French in Manchester where I gained an Honours degree. I then completed a Business for Linguists Diploma in London. I knew I wanted to use my languages so working for the French company Valeo was ideal! I then moved into the marketing department of Massey Ferguson where I developed the marketing material for the French dealerships. This involved regular visits to Paris!
I left the world of business when I had my children and became a licensee for "Le Club Francais" teaching French to primary school children. This harnessed my interest in language teaching so I completed my PGCE through Liverpool Hope University and so began my career teaching 11 - 16 years old in secondary school.
I always wanted to learn Spanish so the opportunity of pursuing this came in the form of a diploma through Open University.
I am passionate about language learning and I am excited to start a new venture teaching adults with the focus on fun, enjoyment, meeting new friends....and at the same time learning to speak another language confidently. You're never too old to learn!
