Here your vocabulary can flourish and your confidence bloom as you master the perfect, imperfect and future tenses. We work on accuracy of those little words; on increasing spoken speed; on colloquialisms and everyday slang; on pronunciation. Our Teachers

Whether you're wanting to learn French to better communicate when on holiday; for business purposes; for a move abroad or for pure enjoyment, I'm keen to meet your needs. With a degree in French, German and Spanish; university qualifications gained in France and Spain; a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and over 15 years experience in education both as a secondary teacher and trainer of adult learners I reckon I know my stuff ! I'm passionate about all things French and Francophone plus having learned several of them, I know how fantastically rewarding learning a language can be - especially when it's made fun and no matter what your age !

Social Events

Every lesson is pretty sociable but there's also an optional termly social event for our learners. Maybe a French games night, a French film night or a meal out together. Our most recent social was over a coffee and croissant, using our French to test out the "6 degrees of separation" theory : are we connected by more than just learning French ? No doubt we will get together in early September, just watch this space for more info.

Also open to current, former and interested learners are free holiday workshops or conversation sessions to meet up and practice our French in a relaxed way between the 10 week terms. Please get in touch to find out what is coming up over the Summer holiday period or even to request a particular workshop or conversation theme.
