Lovely, lively language lessons for adults!

Open Group French Classes

These classes are for up to 12 pupils. A typical class starts with some formal teaching of vocabulary and grammar. This is is followed by a fun activity or game, which reinforces the knowledge and puts it to immediate use.
1 to 1 Classes

If you want to learn French quickly, these classes will s-t-r-e-t-c-h you far more than a group class. You get to choose topics that are relevant to you, you can skip the bits you know and go at your own pace. Classes take place at your or your tutor’s home. Choose from a 10-hour, 30-hour or ongoing package.

Primary School Teachers Classes

Many primary teachers have the skills to teach French but lack the confidence. Our courses will help your school embed French into the curriculum and fill your teachers with confidence. Breakfast, lunch or twilight sessions can be arranged for up to 12 teachers at a time. For teachers without language qualifications, the Beginners course will provide a solid foundation on which to build. For teachers with some experience, the Improvers course will revise and revitalise their language skills.

Tiny Classes

It is up to the individual teacher to decide when a group class is no longer able to run. In this case, they may try and offer a ‘Tiny Class’. Half way between a private and a group lesson, for 2 – 5 students, tiny group classes are held in a home environment and work best when students have a common goal, such as moving to France or buying a home abroad. The group often becomes a support network during what can be both an exciting and stressful time. This is also a good option if mobility is an issue or you simply prefer to learn in the comfort of your own home. You may wish to organise your class together with friends or neighbours, perhaps taking turns to host the lesson. For a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 participants
